On 22 March 2020, in an attempt to slow down the spread of the COVID-19 virus, the Australian Government handed down a decision to close registered and licensed clubs, restaurants, cinemas, sporting centres, gymnasiums, pubs, clubs and casinos from midday 23 March 2020.

Accordingly and regrettably, The Adelaide Club will be closed indefinitely. We look forward to the end of this crisis and wish you all good health.

The Club offers a good balance of traditional fine dining and contemporary cuisine, with an extensive wine list to complement the food.

A selection of rooms is available for private dining and functions. Smart business casual may be worn in the newly refurbished basement areas, such as Downstairs@165, the Private and Committee Rooms, Billiard Room and Members’ Office Facility;  jacket and tie must be worn in all other areas of the Club.

The Club’s accommodation facility provides a Deluxe Suite with a Sitting Room overlooking the gardens of Government House, 2 Junior Suites and 6 Deluxe Bedrooms.

Fully cooked breakfasts are available from Monday to Friday. From 1 May 2019 a complimentary Continental Breakfast Box will be available in-room on the weekends for each of our guests; the Continental Breakfast will replace the a la carte cooked breakfasts which will be discontinued on the weekends from that date.

Wi-Fi connection, Foxtel, Tea and Coffee facilities are included. Secure parking is available for a fee.
